Everton are unwilling to sell Jarrad Branthwaite under a new ownership, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that new Everton incoming owner Dan Friedkin does not want to let go of Branthwaite and does not want to send a wrong signal to the Goodison Park faithful.
Branthwaite has had injury issues this season and has only just returned to action. The 22-year-old is one of the best young centre-backs in the Premier League and is a key player for Everton. He has also played once for England. Branthwaite has made 46 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. He has scored four goals and kept 13 clean sheets in those games.
Everton are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season. The Toffees are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with four points from six matches, a point above the relegation zone.
