Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury suffered on international duty.
Fellaini was hurt playing in Belgium’s Euro 2012 qualifier against Austria in midweek and won’t be back in action until late November.
The 22-year-old, who missed the final three months of last season after damaging ankle ligaments, joins a lengthy Everton injury list ahead of Sunday’s Merseyside derby against Liverpool at Goodison Park.
As well as Fellaini, Toffees boss David Moyes is also without South African midfielder Steven Pienaar, French striker Louis Saha and youngsters Jack Rodwell and Victor Anichebe.
