Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Everton have rekindled their interest in Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
The Azzurri seem to have decided to cash in on their forward following his disappointing performances of late and a January exit now seems on the cards.
But, while they rejected offers in the region of €30 million for his services in the summer, Napoli will have to settle for less in the upcoming transfer window.
Premier League strugglers Everton have reportedly submitted a €20 million proposal that is currently under serious consideration at Stadio San Paolo.
Napoli plan to recruit Leonardo Pavoletti in the coming weeks and have the Genoa striker challenge Arkadiusz Milik for a starting berth up front, so they will jump at the opportunity to cash in on Gabbiadini.
Despite impressing in the back-up role last term, the 25-year-old has largely struggled since Gonzalo Higuain moved to Juventus, netting just once in 11 Serie A games.
