BBC Sport is reporting that Everton have made Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez their primary target in an attempt to reinforce the attacking department.
The Toffees director of football Steve Walsh is a big fan of the La Liga star and he hopes to bring him to Goodison Park in the coming days.
With January recruit Oumar Niasse likely to leave the club, new Everton manager is keen on adding another quality centre forward to help Romelu Lukaku.
Lucas Perez is currently valued at £15 million after enjoying a thoroughly impressive La Liga campaign last term.
Despite representing basement club Deportivo La Coruna, the left-footed striker managed to score 17 goals in 36 league fixtures, before also getting on the scoresheet in the first fixture of the new campaign.
Following the 2-1 triumph over West Bromwich at the Hawthorns, Everton can be backed at 8/11 to see off Stoke City on Saturday.
