Everton are readying January bid for Rubin Kazan midfielder Yann M’Vila, reports Russian newspaper Izvestia.
The Toffees are well aware of the Frenchman’s qualities and they see him as a perfect long-term replacement for Marouane Fellaini.
Everton are, therefore, expected to step up their interest in the January transfer window, although persuading Rubin to sell will be no easy task.
Just a year ago, M’Vila was one of Europe’s most sought-after players, but his career started taking a turn for the worse after he surprisingly opted to join Rubin Kazan.
The reality is that the 23-year-old would be interested in a move to English Premier League, which would improve his chances of making France’s World Cup squad.
M’Vila is banned from representing France until 1st March for going on a night out with several of his teammates while on Under-21 duty.
Everton returned to sixth place in the overall standings as they defeated Aston Villa away, and they are 13/8 to achieve a top 6 finish.
