Everton are planning the life past this summer without Moise Kean and James Rodriguez, according to Paul Joyce of The Times, and the latter could be used in a swap deal which would see 24-year-old winger Luis Diaz arrive to Merseyside from FC Porto.
The Toffees have already boosted their attacking ranks in wide positions by singing Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray, and Diaz, who scored four goals for Colombia at the Copa America, would be another quality option. As for Kean, agent Mino Raiola is currently working on a potential return to Juventus, who have just sold Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Everton boss Rafa Benitez says he expects Richarlison to stay put, despite recent rumours suggesting Paris Saint-Germain could move for him to replace Kylian Mbappe, if the Frenchman ends up going to Real Madrid in the next few days.
“My idea is that 99.99% he will stay,” Benitez said about the Brazilian forward.
“I am happy with him, he is happy here and he wants to score goals.”
