Everton to offer Rodwell for Crouch

Everton boss David Moyes is keen on Tottenham striker Peter Crouch and could even offer midfielder Jack Rodwell in exchange for the towering striker.

The Toffees boss is desperate for a big name signing after a very quiet summer and he is prepared to go all out to sign Peter Crouch.

The England international will be allowed to leave White Hart Lane should the right offer come along as Harry Redknapp is looking to add another striker to the squad.

According to The People, David Moyes could even include star midfielder Jack Rodwell in the deal.

Rodwell is considered one of the brightest talents of English football, but he is currently not considered first team regular at Goodison Park.

This is why David Moyes could use the midfielder to sign Peter Crouch, as Everton don’t have enough money to pay for the transfer in cash.
