(GSM) – Several Premiership clubs have targeted Celtic winger Aiden McGeady, who is ready to leave the Bhoys.
Yesterday, Celtic boss Neil Lennon already said he feared losing the Ireland international.
“Aiden hasn’t said to me he wants to leave in so many words,” said Lennon in the Daily Record. “But that vibe came from his side of things.”
Spartak Moscow are known to be tracking McGeady but he is known to prefer a move to England as the next part of his development and career.
Aston Villa boss Martin O’Neill is understandably a long-term admirer of the 26-year-old having managed him at Parkhead and he has the funds to match Celtic’s £6 million valuation.
However, he will face fierce competition from Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and city rivals Birmingham City.
