Everton turn to Zouma

Everton are set to make a loan move for Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma, according to the Mirror.

The Toffees are keen to add defensive reinforcements before Thursday’s transfer deadline but are struggling to tie up deals for Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo and Yerry Mina of Barcelona.

A deal for Zouma may be more straight-forward with the twenty-three-year-old having returned from a season-long spell with Stoke City in the summer.

He made thirty-seven appearances for the Potters in all competitions, scoring once but was unable to help them avoid relegation to the Championship.

Prior to his temporary switch to the Bet 365 Stadium he played seventy-one times for his parent club, scoring four times while since moving to England he has made his senior debut for France.

Everton being the 2018/19 season with a trip to newly promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers, and the away win can be backed at a price of 11/5.
