Everton are interested in signing Jesse Lingard from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun. West Ham United want to bring the 28-year-old England international attacking midfielder back to London Stadium.
Lingard, who can also operate as a winger, spent the second half of last season loan at West Ham from the Red Devils. The attacker scored nine goals and gave four assists in 16 league appearances for the Hammers.
Former Liverpool and Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez is now the new manager of Everton. The Spaniard has made his priority to strengthen the wide areas. Lingard is a player Benitez is considering for a transfer to Everton this summer.
