Everton want Mourinho?

According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Everton could be interested in making a move for Roma boss Jose Mourinho.

The belief, as of this writing, is that Mourinho’s position is under threat as Roma manager as a result of some poor results in recent weeks. In comparison, Rafa Benitez is also feeling the pressure with Everton slipping closer and closer to the relegation zone.

Benitez is believed to have the full backing of the board but if that changes, for whatever reason, then the hammer looks set to come down pretty quickly.

Mourinho didn’t exactly find success during his time with Tottenham Hotspur but his experience at the highest level in English football has been highlighted as a reason why he could be good for Everton.

Their fans may not be too chuffed with the appointment if it happens but right now, anything is going to be better than Benitez in their eyes.
