Everton are interested in signing former Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco on a free transfer, according to The Times. The Spanish playmaker is a free agent at the moment, having had his contract with La Liga club Sevilla terminated by mutual consent earlier. The 30-year-old was close to a move to Union Berlin in January on transfer deadline day, but it collapsed.
The Toffees are really struggling in the Premier League at the moment and are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season. Sean Dyche has recently been appointed as the new manager of the Merseyside club, and the former Burnley boss faces an uphill battle in keeping the team in the top flight of English football.
Everton are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 15 points from 20 matches. The Toffees are two points behind 17th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers in the standings now.
