Everton are interested in signing Harry Winks from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports. The report has claimed that Tottenham have told the English midfielder to find a new club, and that the Toffees are interested in him.
Sky Sports have reported that Everton manager Frank Lampard has given the green light for initial talks with Tottenham over the transfer of Winks, who has scored two goals in 128 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
Winks made nine starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League last season, providing one assist in the process. The 26-year-old England international midfielder also made one start and two substitute appearances in the Carabao Cup, played three times in the Conference League, and featured in three FA Cup ties.
