According to reports in England, Everton recently sent a scout to watch Yacine Brahimi. The 28 year old’s contract is set to expire at the end of this season, and he put in a great shift to help Porto win 3-1 against Nacional earlier in the week.
The Toffees are looking towards bolstering their squad ahead of an unlikely push for a spot in Europe, but at the very least, they’ll want to secure their place in the top half. While they’ve already got a squad capable of reaching that goal, they could use a few reinforcements.
Unfortunately their attacking purchases have been a bit hit and miss over the last few years, but given his experience, Brahimi certainly seems like someone who could have a positive impact on this squad.
Brahimi is an Algerian international and has long since been considered a stand out member of his national side, which will come as no surprise.
