Competition: Premier League
Market: Ross Barkley to stay at Everton
Odds: 2/5 @ 888 Sport

Everton midfielder Ross Barkley has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park all season, with the England international attracting interest from a number of Premier League sides in particular. His form has been hot and cold for the Blues, but many elite teams in the division still consider him to be a talent worth paying for, and a high asking price has already been put on his head as a result.

Manchester City are one of three sides who have been linked with Barkley in the last year, with the Sky Blues looking to build a side more full of homegrown talents to avoid falling foul of the new squad regulations to be introduced. They can afford to pay above the odds to sign Barkley, let alone providing him with a lucrative contract that would blow the other sides out of the water.

Chelsea and Manchester United are the two other teams interested in the young midfielder, but it’s unknown how much they are really willing to sign him, given they are eyeing up world-class foreign talent this summer. Everton are very keen to keep him too, which sees 888 Sport are giving odds of 2/5 for the England international to remain in Merseyside this summer.
