Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola believes everybody in England wants Liverpool to win the Premier League title ahead of his team, who sit top of the table with a three-point advantage after thrashing Newcastle on Sunday, with three matches to go.

Frankly, it’s a strange thing to say, considering that Liverpool supporters still get despicably insulted across the country, the victims of the Hillsborough disaster mocked in stadiums, along with the poverty which threatened their city throughout the 1980s.
