Manchester United defender Patrice Evra could be moving to Italian Serie A in the summer, his representative has suggested.
The experienced full-back is out of contract at the end of the season, and he is unlikely to be offered a new deal at Old Trafford.
Evra has yet to make a decision on his future, but everything suggests he will be joining a Serie A side, with Inter Milan and Roma reportedly keen.
And his agent Federico Pastorello has moved to confirm reports linking his client with a move to Italy’s elite division.
“Even though he turns 33 in May, he still has another three to four seasons at the highest level in his legs,” Pastorello told Tele Radio Stereo.
“Inter and Roma? Speaking with him, I have understood that technically Serie A is a possibility.
“He is very attached to Manchester United even if recently things have changed a bit. But Evra still has not taken a final decision.”
Patrice Evra has spent last eight and a half years at Old Trafford, making a total of 269 Premier League appearances and scoring 7 goals in the process.
After enjoying a 4-1 Premier League triumph over Aston Villa, Manchester United face Bayern in the Champions League quarter-finals, with the Red Devils 13/2 to win the first leg at Old Trafford.
