(GSM) – Luis Fabiano has been heavily linked with a move away from Sevilla but the Brazil striker has now stated he would be happy to stay at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Fabiano, who will represent his country at the World Cup, said he would be happy to remain at Sevilla suggesting he has never categorically stated he is seeking a transfer.

“I know you are saying that I have said I want to go to Milan or Manchester United, but they are phrases that have been taken out of context,” the 29-year-old hitman told Sport.

“I’ve always just said that it would be an honour to play for teams like Milan or Manchester [United],” he added. “I’ve also said a lot of times that I would like to stay with Sevilla.”
