“Obviously in January I can sign (a pre-contract agreement) with whoever I want and probably this will attract many clubs. But so far, from what I can say right now, yes I will stay here until the end of the season. I play at Stamford Bridge, I’m happy. That’s the most important thing. But of course, every player wants to play more.”
Those are the words of Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who has made it pretty clear that he will be remaining at Stamford Bridge until the end of the season at the very least. The 32 year old’s future has been cause for great speculation with AC Milan being very interested in bringing him over to Italy, but for now, he seems content with making sporadic appearances for the Blues.
Fabregas has been a solid midfielder in the Premier League and La Liga for many years now, although some feel as if the pace of Serie A will suit him better at this stage of his career.
