Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas sat out training with the rest of the first team squad on Monday ahead of the Champions League tie against Porto at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.
Spain midfield star Fabregas is trying to overcome a right hamstring injury which saw him limp off after scoring in the 3-1 Premier League victory over Burnley on Saturday.
It is the same injury which sidelined Fabregas at the turn of the year.
Veteran Arsenal defender Sol Campbell did train and looks as if he will recover in time from a groin problem in time to face Portuguese side Porto, who will kick-off in the second leg of this last-16 tie with a 2-1 lead.
