Barcelona vice president Josep Maria Bartomeu has reiterated that Cesc Fabregas will not be sold this summer amid continued interest from Manchester United, according to Sky Sports.
The Premier League champions have made the 26 year old one of their key transfer targets this summer, as they look to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season.
However, the La Liga champions have moved to stress that the former Arsenal man will be remaining at the Nou Camp.
Fabregas himself has repeatedly said that he is happy at his hometown club, who he re-signed for two years ago after an eight year spell in North London.
In his sixty league appearances for Barca, the Spain international has scored twenty goals, and made twenty-one assists.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for their former captain, and would have first refusal on him should the Catalan club make a U-turn on their decision.
