Talk Sport are today reporting that Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas is not happy at the club due to his lack of his first-team opportunities.
The Spaniard moved for to the Catalan club for £30 million last summer from Arsenal and was a big player for Barcelona last season, helping them to the Copa del Rey and World Club Cup titles in his first twelve months at the Nou Camp.
However, new boss Tito Vilanova has used Fabregas as a bit-part player so far this campaign and he is not happy about this.
He said: “There’s no such thing as a great substitute in the world of football – I couldn’t tell you what makes a great substitute.
“I always wish my team-mates well and put a happy face on. If I have to take my unhappy face home then so be it, but I would never let my team-mates or manager see it.”
This news is sure to spark the attention of Fabregas’ former employers Arsenal and they may now look to bring him back to the English Premier League in the January transfer window.
The Gunners fans admired the Spanish international when he was playing in North London are would be sure to welcome him back with open arms to the club.
That said though, Fabregas has said that he does want to see out his career at the La Liga giants if he can and is likely to fight for his place and show Vilanova what he is capable of.
