Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas believes La Liga rivals Real Madrid will not drop points in the run up to El Clasico.
Real have won their last eight league games and sit three points clear of Barca at the top of the table.
The two rivals clash in the Spanish capital on December 10 in the first El Clasico of the campaign, and Fabregas believes that the league leaders will keep up their good form until then.
“They will not lose points,” the 24-year-old told Marca.
Youth product Fabregas went on to say that he has enjoyed his time at Camp Nou since his return from Arsenal in August, and cited Xavi as a major influence on his game.
“I’m in my element and I’m having a great time with peers who see everything. He (Xavi) is experienced, tells me how to move and supports me,” he said.
Fabregas has scored five goals in La Liga so far this season.
