Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao Garcia has moved to reject speculations linking him with a summer exit from Vicente Calderon.
The highly rated forward joined los Colchoneros in a €40 million move from Porto last summer, and he has already managed to justify the hefty price tag.
Following some scintillating performances this term, the Colombian has seen his name linked with a number of high-profile sides, including Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Nevertheless, the player insists he is solely focused on helping Atletico Madrid turn this season into a success.
“I’m trying not to listen to these rumours”, Falcao told Radio Goycoche 9.
“Of course, I read the papers and sometimes there is something, but it is normal if I do well that these things are said.
“Today however, I am only thinking about doing well with Atletico Madrid.”
The 26-year-old signed a five-year contract with los Colchoneros last summer, and it is highly unlikely that Atletico would be interested in selling him just a year later.
Radamel Falcao Garcia has been in unbelievable form this season, having scored 20 goals in 26 La Liga matches, while scoring 7 more in 11 Europa League games.
