According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Radamel Falcao could wind up returning to Atletico Madrid during the summer transfer window six years after he first left the club. Falcao scored 16 goals in 38 appearances for Monaco throughout the course of the season, with the expectation being that he could fill the void created by Antoine Griezmann’s impending departure. The Colombian sensation has certainly had an up and down career up to this point in terms of his consistency, but for the most part, many fans regard him as one of the greatest Colombian forwards ever. During his time with Atletico, Falcao was able to put himself on the map with a string of strong performances with the Spanish club – with the expectation being that he would be able to replicate that kind of form if he went back.
Is that at all true? We’ll have to wait and see.
