Faouzi Ghoulam set for new Napoli deal

Sportitalia is reporting that Napoli have finally reached an agreement with Faouzi Ghoulam over a new deal.

One of Europe’s leading left-backs looked to be heading towards Stadio San Paolo exit having entered the final year of his contract.

However, lengthy negotiations between his agents and Napoli appear to have produced results as latest reports suggest an agreement has been reached.

This will see Ghoulam earn €4 million per campaign at Stadio San Paolo, while a €45 million release clause that will only apply to foreign clubs will be inserted as well.

The Algerian footballer will not be returning into action any time soon having suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury few weeks ago.
