Handed the chance to climb potentially as high as second in the Western Conference, FC Dallas will welcome Cincinnati to the Toyota Stadium in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Starting with the hosts, coming off the back of a very eye-catching display in their 5-1 win against Houston last weekend, FC Dallas now have the chance to climb as high as second in the West. Enjoying a free-scoring run in the second half of the season and now bagging 13 goals in their last four MLS outings, a huge part of their recent resurge has come thanks to their continued showings at the Toyota Stadium. Along with picking up a 5-1 win over the Dynamo’s last time out, Luchi Gonzalez’s side are unbeaten in their last eight matchups in Texas and have now bagged 10 goals in just their last two appearances on home soil.

As for the visitors, while FC Dallas might be enjoying a bright run in the second half of the MLS campaign, the same cannot be said for a struggling Cincinnati outfit. Suffering a 3-1 hammering at home to Columbus last weekend, the MLS latest franchise are still struggling to adjust to life under new Head Coach, Ron Jans. Now sat 12 points adrift at the foot of the East and losing six of their last seven matchups, a run that stems all the way back to the middle of July, there is no doubt that Sunday’s trip to Texas could prove to be another tough test for a Cincinnati side who are shipping goals.
