FC Koln sporting director Volker Finke says that star player Lukas Podolski will be allowed to leave the club if the right offer comes along.
The Germany international has been in impressive form this season and he is believed to be looking for a new challenge.
Lazio, Roma and Arsenal have all been linked with the forward and it appears that FC Koln will not stand in his way.
“When Lukas comes to us with a good offer he will be able to go where he wants,” Koln sporting director Volker Finke told Kolner Express.
“Of course, we would prefer for him to remain until the end of the season. It is possible (that he will sign a new deal), but there is nothing for certain.
”For sure, Podolski won’t play for us next season without having signed a new contract.”
