Portuguese media outlet Abola has picked up on a rumour linking Portugal giants FC Porto with a move for the Brazilian midfielder Valdivia.
Wanderson Ferreira de Oliveira – also known as Valdivia – is a 22-year-old who plays for Internacional.
Valdivia initially played futsal before subsequently switching to football at the age of 12, when he joined Rondonopolis Esporte Clube as a youth player. In 2012, he joined Internacional where he was awarded a professional debut a year later.
An attacking midfielder who can also operate on both wings is a versatile attack-oriented footballer who has been on FC Porto’s radar for quite some time.
The Portugal giants have decided to step up the chase for their target and have already approached Internacional eyeing potential summer deal for the talented 22-year-old.
Valdivia has thus far played 123 Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A matches and has 27 goals on his tally.
