FC Porto star available for sale

FC Porto midfielder Hector Herrera could be made available for sale in the January transfer window, according to A Bola.

The Mexican has been on the radar of Europe’s top clubs for quite some time now, with Juventus and Napoli believed to be leading the chase for his services.

And while the Dragons were not interested in selling their prized asset before, they appear to have changed their stance.

Namely, the club chiefs recently confirmed that one star player could be sold in the winter, and that is likely to be Hector Herrera.

While the Dragons do not have proper replacements for Andre Silva and Danilo Perreira, who are also followed by a number of top sides, the Mexican footballer would be much easier to replace, especially given that his performances this season have left a lot to be desired.

FC Porto missed a glorious opportunity to close the gap behind title rivals Benfica at the weekend and they are now 7/2 to go all the way.
