FC Porto are readying a summer bid for Zenit star Givanildo Vieira de Souza “Hulk”, according to A Bola.

The Brazilian forward moved to Russia in a big money move some four years ago and he has since fared pretty well in the Russian Premier League.

Hulk went on to score 52 goals in 92 league appearances, but his long-term future at the club is in doubt now that coach Andre Villas-Boas is expected to leave.

As a result, Porto chairman Pinto da Costa is determined to try and bring Hulk back to Estadio do Dragao, even if that is not going to be an easy task.

The Dragons president has already contacted the forward’s agent to discuss the possible summer move, but it remains to be seen whether Zenit will be prepared to sell their star player, who has a deal until June 2019 at Stadion Petrovskij.
