February 18th: Sunday’s European Double – 5/1 Special, Betting Tips & Predictions

On a stacked Sunday schedule that features European giants such as Manchester United and AC Milan, we are certainly treated to a host of eye-catching affairs from across the continent.

So, for those of you who are looking to stick on a Sunday European flutter, we have taken a glance at a pair of noteworthy betting markets that are available.

16:30 Luton Town vs Manchester United

While Erik ten Hag might have found some increasing pressure on his shoulders prior to opening up the New Year, Manchester United do appear to have turned a real corner. In the midst of what has been a recent purple patch, the Premier League heavyweights will be smelling the opportunity to make another domestic statement this weekend.

Last seen putting in an eye-catching performance as they snatched a 2-1 victory away at Aston Villa, the Red Devils should find the mood in their camp at a season-high.

With their sights firmly set on securing another Champions League ticket in 2024, the former Ajax boss has seen his squad win all of their previous four domestic appearances on the spin.

With their flurry underlined by a 3-0 romp at home against West Ham on February 4th, Manchester United have also continued to shine with their clinical performances in the final third.

Watching attacking talisman Rasmus Hojlund now find the net in all of his previous five outings, Luton could face another tricky challenge in Berkshire this weekend.

Missing out on what was a golden opportunity last week as they eventually fell to a 3-1 drumming at home against Sheffield United, the Hatters are still tipped as a standout contender to be hit with an immediate Championship return.

Mustering just a pair of victories from any of their last seven showdowns at Kenilworth Road, it should also be noted that Luton suffered a 1-0 defeat when they travelled to Old Trafford for their reverse top-flight battle back on November 11th.

Betting Tip: Rasmus Hojlund to score anytime @ 7/4 with Pribet

19:45 Monza vs AC Milan

While AC Milan might be seeking a miracle in their bid to claim a 20th Serie A crown this season, the Italian icons are enjoying a hugely impressive romp. Sat firmly in the driving seat to punch another Champions League ticket in 2024, Sunday’s hosts are riding what has been quite the wave of momentum.

Getting their Europa League knockout stage adventure underway with a routine 3-0 victory at home against French outfit Rennes earlier in the week, Stefano Pioli’s men have continued to receive a string of plaudits.

Making another domestic statement last weekend as they secured a 1-0 win against defending champions Napoli, the Rossoneri have suffered just a single loss from any of their previous 13 appearances across all competitions.

Opening the New Year with a 4-1 romp against Cagliari, AC Milan should be excited by the prospect of a trip to the Stadio Brianteo on Sunday night.

Collecting 13 points from their last five showdowns away from the San Siro, an inconsistent Monza should be bracing themselves for another real examination here.

Although the Reds might have signed off January with a much-needed 1-0 victory against Sassuolo, it appears that might have just been a minor boost for Raffaele Palladino’s men.

Including a worrying 3-0 drumming at the hands of Empoli last month, Monza have secured just a pair of wins from any of their previous nine domestic appearances across all competitions – a run that stems back to December 10th.

Failing to collect back-to-back victories since the start of October, the Lombardy-based outfit should also be concerned by a woeful record against the former Italian champions.

Hit with a 3-0 defeat when they travelled to the San Siro back on December 17th, Monza have lost all of their seven historic battles against AC Milan.
