With the Premier League title chase now reaching a boiling point, we certainly have a stacked Saturday schedule on the cards.
With just a single point separating Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City in this season’s title scrap, we have six top-flight showdowns throughout Saturday.
So, for those of you who are looking to stick on a weekend acca, we have found a trio of Premier League betting tips that are worth keeping an eye out for.
Saturday, February 24th
BST 15:00 Manchester United vs Fulham
While Manchester United might have come crashing out of the Champions League back in December and found themselves at the heart of a public crisis, the Red Devils have come roaring back in a stellar fashion. With the mood in Erik ten Hag’s camp appearing to be at a season-high, some around Old Trafford are dreaming of the chance to mount a shock top-four charge. Last seen claiming a hard-fought 2-1 victory away at relegation scrappers Luton, the former Ajax boss has seen his squad win all of their previous four Premier League appearances by an aggregate score of 11-5. Likewise, extending on their FA Cup adventure last month as they secured an action-packed 4-2 victory away at League Two outfit Newport, Manchester United are unbeaten in all of their last seven domestic appearances across all competitions. With their recent purple patch underlined by a 2-1 win away at Aston Villa earlier in the month, ten Hag’s men will be smelling an opportunity here. Making an immediate return to losing ways last weekend, Fulham have continued to struggle with their consistency this season. Almost sat in Premier League limbo, Saturday’s guests have recorded just a single victory from any of their previous eight appearances across all formats. Last seen slumping to a 2-1 defeat at home against Aston Villa, the Cottagers have also not collected a top-flight win on their travels since way back on August 12th.
Tip: Rasmus Hojlund to score anytime @ 13/10
15:00 Brighton vs Everton
Making an immediate return to winning ways last weekend as they stormed their way to a 5-0 romp away at Sheffield United, Brighton will be looking to use that performance as a platform to build on. Making real history back in December as they clinched a Europa League quarter-final ticket, Roberto De Zerbi’s men will be looking to make another statement here. Losing just a pair of their previous 10 domestic appearances across all competitions, the former Sassuolo boss will also be excited by his side’s remarkable success on home soil. In fact, last seen at the Amex claimed a 4-1 victory against bitter rivals Crystal Palace on February 3rd, Brighton have not suffered a single domestic defeat at the Amex so far this season. With their sights firmly set on claiming another iconic top-six finish come May, De Zerbi’s side will be looking to cash in on an Event squad who are enduring a public Premier League crisis. Hit with a hugely controversial 10-point deduction back in November and with more potential sanctions hanging over them, Sean Dyche has a real job on his hands at Goodison Park. Mustering just a single victory from any of their last 13 straight showdowns across all competitions, the Blues find themselves at the heart of another relegation scrap. Likewise, it should also be noted that Everton have failed to find the net in any of their previous four straight battles on the road.
Tip: Brighton win @ 4/5
17:30 Bournemouth vs Manchester City
While Manchester City might have been forced to settle for a 1-1 stalemate at home against Chelsea last weekend, the Sky Blues are in the midst of a real flurry. Although Pep Guardiola’s men might open Saturday’s showdown at the Vitality sat one-point adrift in the title chase, the former Barcelona boss finds his squad enjoying a 16-match unbeaten run across all competitions – a run that stems all the way back to December 6th. With their sights firmly set on making more domestic history in 2024, City have also continued to shine with their rampant performances on the road. Getting their Champions League knockout stage adventure underway with a 3-1 romp away at Copenhagen earlier in the month, Guardiola’s superstar squad have won all of their last eight consecutive showdowns outside the blue half of Manchester. With the record-breaking Erling Haaland once again firing on all cylinders, the defending champions will know the importance of making another title statement here. While Bournemouth might have continued to receive a string of plaudits on either side of opening the New Year, Andoni Iraola’s men are without a win from any of their previous five Premier League showdowns. Hit with a nightmare 6-1 drumming when they travelled to the Etihad for their reverse top-flight meeting on November 4th, the Cherries face what will be a monumental challenge this weekend.
Tip: Erling Haaland to score anytime @ 8/11
