February 3rd: Saturday’s English Accumulator – 6/1

As the Premier League title chase really starts to heat up, there are a host of intriguing affairs from up and down the country this weekend.

With a full fixture list from across all of England’s elite tiers throughout Saturday afternoon, we have found a trio of helpful betting tips that are worth keeping an eye out for.

Saturday, February 3rd

BST 12:30 Everton vs Tottenham

Managing to make an immediate return to winning ways earlier in the week, Tottenham have their sights firmly set on clinching a Champions League ticket this season. Claiming an action-packed 3-2 victory at home against Brentford in midweek, Ange Postecoglou’s side have continued to receive plenty of plaudits this year. Signing off 2023 with a 3-1 romp at home against Bournemouth, the former Celtic boss has seen his squad suffer just a pair of defeats from any of their previous nine domestic appearances across all competitions. Skyrocketing their way back into the top-four, Spurs should also be excited by a stellar record against Saturday’s opponents. Landing a 2-1 victory when they welcomed Everton to north London back on December 23rd, Tottenham are unbeaten in all of their previous six Premier League meetings. Hit with a hugely controversial 10-point deduction back in November, the Toffees find themselves at the heart of another top-flight crisis. With another potential sanction hanging over them, Sean Dyche’s side are firmly battling it out in the relegation scrap. Opening Saturday’s showdown sat in the bottom-three, the former Burnley boss has also seen his downbeat squad win just one of their last nine straight appearances. Likewise, recording just a single win at Goodison Park since December 10th, we are backing an away draw no bet here.

Tip: Tottenham draw no bet @ 19/20

15:00 Stoke vs Leicester

While Leicester might have shockingly lost their Premier League status last season, the Foxes are breezing their way to an immediate top-flight return in 2024. Last seen earlier in the week making another statement as they stormed their way to a routine 3-1 romp against Swansea, Saturday’s guests have continued to break a string of Championship records this year. Holding a commanding 10-point buffer at the top of the table and rightfully tipped as a landslide promotion contender, Enzo Maresca’s men should find the mood in their camp at a red-hot high. Simply looking to extend on their Championship purple patch, Leicester have lost just one of their previous 15 straight appearances across all competitions – a run that stems all the way back to November 11th. Opening the New Year with a 4-1 victory against Huddersfield and gaining a real reputation for their free-scoring performances in the final third, the Foxes should be smelling a golden opportunity here. While Stoke might have appointed Steven Schumacher over the festive period, the former Plymouth boss has a real job on his hands. Last seen slumping to a 3-1 drumming away at Sunderland, the Potters have lost three of their previous four appearances across all competitions. Almost sat in Championship limbo, Saturday’s hosts have also remarkably claimed just a pair of victories since way back on October 28th.

Tip: Leicester win @ 19/20

15:00 Leyton Orient vs Carlisle

While Leyton Orient might be seeking a major miracle in their bid to punch a play-off ticket, Saturday’s hosts are enjoying a recent League One flurry. Although Richie Wellens’ side might have been disappointed after settling for a 1-1 stalemate away at Reading last weekend, the Londoners are unbeaten in all of their previous six appearances on the bounce. Springing what was a heavyweight upset away at promotion contenders Portsmouth last month as they stormed their way to a 3-0 romp at Fratton Park, the former Salford boss will also be excited by his side’s continued success at the back. Skyrocketing their way up the League One standings and with the mood in their camp at a season-high, it should be highlighted that Orient have remarkably shipped just a single goal on their six-match unbeaten run. Likewise, not conceding a single goal in over 300 minutes of action at Brisbane Road, Orient will be looking to cash in on a Carlisle squad who are enduring a real struggle. Last seen putting in a nightmare display as they slumped to a 4-1 drumming at home against Bolton, Saturday’s guests have lost all of their previous four appearances on the spin by an aggregate score of 11-4. Hit with a 3-1 loss when they met Orient while on FA Cup duties back on November 4th, we are expecting a similar outcome.

Tip: Leyton Orient win & Under 4.5 goals @ 1/1
