Fiorentina forward Federico Bernardeschi has poured cold water on rumours linking him with a move away from Artemio Franchi.
The 22-year-old has been one of Serie A’s star performers this season, bagging 9 league goals, which is three times more than he scored in his first 40 Serie A outings.
It is, therefore, hardly surprising to see top European clubs casting admiring glances his way, with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Juventus all believed to be keen.
However, it would appear as though the Italy starlet has no intention to quit Artemio Franchi any time soon, which is definitely great news for the Viola faithful.
“The idea of becoming a symbol of Fiorentina is in my head,” Bernardeschi explained to La Domenica Sportiva.
“I am very attached to this team, and then we will see whether we can turn this desire into reality.”
Federico Bernardeschi is the hottest prospect to have come out of club’s youth academy in recent years, and he has so far earned 7 Italy caps.
