Federico Chiesa could leave Liverpool for Fiorentina

Fiorentina are interested in signing Federico Chiesa from Liverpool in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Liverpool could offload Chiesa in the middle of the season, and that Italian club Fiorentina are the favourites to secure his services.

Chiesa joined Liverpool from Juventus in the summer of 2024. The 27-year-old winger has had injury problems during his time at the Premier League club so far this season and has failed to make a huge impact. The Italy international has played only 18 minutes in the Premier League, one in the UEFA Champions League and 104 in the Carabao Cup.

Liverpool, who have been linked with Elliot Anderson, are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 45 points from 18 matches, six points ahead of second-placed Arsenal, who have played 19 games. Meanwhile, Fiorentina currently find themselves fifth in the Serie A table with 32 points from 17 games, three points behind fourth-placed Lazio, who have played 18 games.
