Fekir remains uncertain on future

“Am I leaving? No, not for now, but you never know in football”.

As reported by L’Equipe, Nabil Fekir continues to be quite ‘uncertain’ in the media when it comes to his future. If he’d have finished his sentence prior to the final six words then there wouldn’t have been any kind of issue – but that wasn’t the case, and he still seems hell bent on keeping everyone guessing.

The Lyon star continues to turn heads in Ligue 1, and the club are very interested in extending his contract. Alas, while he may not be going anywhere in the summer (according to him), there’s always the possibility of a surprise bid coming in that they just can’t resist.

Liverpool are one of the main clubs that have been heavily linked with Fekir, and at one point in time the deal seemed like a virtual certainty. Considering how well the Reds are doing in the league and in Europe, however, it seems like it could still be on the cards.
