Felipe Melo hints at permanent Galatasaray deal

Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo has revealed that he doesn’t plan to return to Juventus.

The 28-year-old joined Galatasaray on loan from Juventus in the summer, and he basically ruled out the return to Juventus Arena.

“It’s practically impossible to see me wear the Bianconeri shirt again,” Melo told Milliyet. “I don’t want to go back.

“I always did my best for the team, but the Juve fans criticised me and that was a difficult period to live through.

“I absolutely want to stay at Galatasaray. I love this club, the fans appreciate me and I am finally happy.

“Istanbul is a modern city and a beautiful place.”

The Brazilian midfielder enjoyed a great start to his career at Turk Telekom Arena, having scored 4 goals in 16 league games.
