Fenerbahce move into third place in the Turkish league following a 2-1 win over Eskisehirspor, while Trabzonspor only managed a draw with Instanbul BB.

Deivid de Souza scored the opener for ‘Fener’ after 59 minutes and Spaniard Dani Guiza made it 2-0 shortly before the end.

Batuhan Karadeniz had enough time left to get one back for Eskisehirspor but Fenerbahce held on to their lead for three points.

As Trabzonspor were held to a goalless draw by Istanbul BB, Fenerbahce surpass the former leaders and now occupy third place at six points from leaders Sivasspor.
