(GSM) – Kayserispor beat Fenerbahce 2-0 on Saturday to keep their unbeaten status and jump to second place in the Turkish league.

Fenerbahce, who earned six points from their first two games, hoped to move closer to the top in their away match to Kayserispor but things did not go according to plan for the Istanbul side.

After a goalless first half, Jonathan Santana broke the deadlock in the 66th minute. Furkan Ozcal doubled the advantage another two minutes later.

Besiktas did do as expected, beating Ankaragücü 4-0 with two goals from Bobo, one from Ibrahim Toraman and one from Mert Nobre.

Besiktas are now in third place, three points behind Bursaspor who beat Eskisehirspor 2-1 on Friday for their fourth victory in a row.
