(GSM) – Fenerbahce dropped two valuable points in an away match to Manisaspor this Sunday, a result that could well threaten their top spot.

The Istanbul side went ahead with a goal from Brazilian Cristian Baroni in the 13th minute, but the hosts equalised through Nigerian Promise Isaac just before half time.

When Isaac also found the target for 2-1 in the 90th minute, Manisaspor thought to have secured a shock victory. However, Gokhan Unal limited Fenerbahce’s damage by netting for 2-2 in added time.

To make matters worse for the hosts, double goalscorer Isaac was sent off with a direct red card.

Fenerbahce are two points ahead of arch rivals Galatasaray, who have a game in hand as they were originally scheduled to face demoted Ankaraspor this weekend.
