Fenerbahce in ambitious bid for Ozil
Turkish newspaper Vatan has suggested that Fenerbahce have plans to recruit Arsenal star Mesut Ozil.
The Turkish giants are again attracting world-class talent to Sukru Saracoglu Stadium, with Robin van Persie recently joining from Manchester United.
And the latest reports have claimed that Fenerbahce are also showing interest in Arsenal hotshot Mesut Ozil.
Prizing the Germany star away from the Emirates could prove to be mission impossible, but it appears the Turkish side are ready to give it a go.
Mesut Ozil joined Arsenal in a €50 million deal from Real Madrid two years ago and has since scored 9 goals in 52 Premier League outings.
The 26-year-old won the 2014 World Cup with Germany and remains a key player in Joachim Low’s side.
Marseille keen on Adebayor
French giants Marseille are considering a move for former Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor, Le 10 Sport has suggested.
OM failed to sign a replacement for Andre-Pierre Gignac in the summer transfer window, leaving Michy Batshuayi as the only quality option up front.
Marseille officials are, therefore, forced to explore the free agent market and are currently showing interest in Emmanuel Adebayor.
The 31-year-old has finally left Tottenham as his contract was rescinded, and is now free to speak to interested sides.
However, it is believed that the Togolese forward would prefer to remain in English Premier League.
Emmanuel Adebyor scored 35 goals in 92 Premier League appearances for Spurs, but last featured in a league game back in May.
Sporting star in high demand
Sporting Lisbon winger Andre Carrillo has become the subject of interest for Europe’s top sides, according to Superdeporte.
The Lions hotshot has been in excellent form for club and country over the last couple of years and is now being heavily linked with a big club move.
Carrillo’s list of suitors include the likes of Valencia, Inter Milan, Real Betis, FC Porto and Benfica, and his future at Estadio Jose Alvalade is clearly in doubt.
Despite the fact that Sporting chiefs recently revealed the winger had agreed to sign an extension to his contract that is due to expire at the end of the season, there has been no confirmation of the deal taking place.
And with Carrillo left out of Sporting’s squad for the Europa League match against Lokomotiv Moscow, it would appear as though the 24-year-old might not be signing a new contract after all.
His suitors Valencia face Espanyol on the road this weekend and are available at 23/20 to claim maximum points.
