Fenerbahce in shock link with Mesut Ozil

Arsenal star player Mesut Ozil is yet to solve his contract conundrum at Arsenal and appears to be waiting for the end of the season before he responds to Arsenal’s last contract offer.

The German playmaker has been the subject of intense speculation over the past couple of months together with Alexis Sanchez, but with everything that has been going on at the club in recent times, manager Arsene Wenger is apparently losing patience with his two key men and wants to resolve the status quo as soon as possible.

According to reports from the Telegraph, French tactician is prepared to listen to offers for the German international who has been linked with a shock move to Turkey.

The German international of Turkish descent is being connected to Fenerbahce, who are apparently readying a summer bid in effort to lure Ozil to Istanbul.

Ozil’s situation at Arsenal has been put under great scrutiny with the German international’s poor form of late.

Arsenal playmaker hasn’t started a game for Gunners since the 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena and his overall performances have frustrated the fans, at the same time adding more fuel to speculation that he might be leaving the club at the end of the season.
