Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa is in high demand as he is nearing the end of his contract with Spanish giants.
Three clubs have been engaged in a race to sign the 33-year-old Spanish international, who will be a free agent at the end of June.
Greek side Panathinaikos and Mexican Cruz Azul have already expressed their interest in signing the experienced full back, while El Mundo Deportivo reports that Turkish side Fenerbahce have also stepped into the race to snap up the Real Madrid defender.
Fenerbahce have reportedly already contacted the player’s representatives eager to negotiate terms of a possible summer deal.
In addition to these clubs, Arbeloa has also been linked with AC Milan, as well as with a switch to MLS, China, Qatar and UAE.
Former Deportivo La Coruna and Liverpool player, Alvaro Arbeloa has spent the total of nine years at Real Madrid helping Los Blancos to domestic and European glory.
Arbeloa has recently been given a warm send-off from his club and team-mates in Real Madrid’s 3-2 win over Valencia.
