Colombia international James Rodriguez has fallen down the pecking order with Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane and could be in line for a January move away from Santiago Bernabeu.
Lack of form and excess of weight have been mentioned as the main reasons why James Rodriguez was not featuring for Los Blancos at the beginning of the season, but the 25-year-old midfielder has subsequently become the victim of squad depth and is now believed to be eager to leave the club in pursuit of regular football.
The Colombian star made the total of 8 La Liga performances this season, only four of which were starts. Rodriguez also scored 1 goal in the process.
Several clubs have already expressed their interest in signing Rodriguez and the player has reportedly held talks with Premier League sides over a potential January transfer, but according to Turkish media, Fenerbahce are also keen on the player.
Financials would not be a problem for the wealthy Turkish giants who are keen to send a clear message of intent with a world-star signing.
