German international midfielder Mesut Ozil continues to be linked with a move away from Arsenal.
The Arsenal star is edging closer to the end of his deal with the London-based club and there is no indication that he will be accepting a contract extension that has been sitting on the table for quite some time.
Mesut Ozil was demoted to the bench for his team’s game against WBA as Arsene Wenger wanted to spare his star following an injury scare but it only sent rumours flying last night.
The Express today claims that Mesut Ozil’s decision to leave Arsenal at the end of the season has been made, adding that Manchester United are his preferred choice.
The 28-year-old German genius is reportedly keen on a reunion with Jose Mourinho, although Express reports of interest from Turkey as well.
As a German of Turkish descent, Mesut Ozil could be tempted into making a deal to Fenerbahce and that’s exactly what Turkish giants are hoping will be possible at the end of the current season.
