Fenerbahce could cash in on experienced defender Bruno Alves in the upcoming transfer window, reports A Bola.

The 32-year-old has fallen out with club chiefs after he was sent off in the derby match against Galatasaray, earning a €40,000 fine in the process.

Alves has since apologized to the club and his teammates, but he might still be leaving in the January window.

Seeing as how the centre-back has another year and a half left on his deal, this could be the final opportunity for the Canaries to earn a reasonable transfer fee.

Bruno Alves joined the club from Zenit last summer and has since made 30 Super Lig appearances, scoring 2 goals.

Meanwhile, he has lost a starting berth in Portugal national team and was not involved in qualifiers against Albania and Denmark.

Having began his professional career at FC Porto, a return to Portuguese Primeira Liga could be on the cards this winter.
