Il Secolo XIX is reporting that Fenerbahce are weighing up January bid for Sampdoria forward Luis Muriel.
The Turkish giants recently recruited Robin van Persie from Manchester United, but they are reportedly still on the lookout for attacking reinforcements.
According to Il Secolo XIX, Fenerbahce sporting director Giuliano Terraneo is a big fan of the Colombian striker and has been following his performances for quite a while now.
The Turkish giants are believed to be readying a €12 million bid for the Sampdoria hotshot ahead of the winter transfer window.
Luis Muriel was picked up by the Blucerchiati following a somewhat disappointing spell with Udinese and he has successfully kick-started his career at Marassi.
The 24-year-old went on to score 4 Serie A goals in the second part of last season before netting two times in the first two fixtures of the new campaign, so it is highly unlikely that Sampdoria will be ready to negotiate his sale.
