Fenerbahce are very close to a spot in the final of the Turkish Cup following Wednesday’s 3-1 win over Sivasspor. Besiktas beat Ankaraspor 1-3 a day earlier.

Deniz Baris gave ‘Fener’ the lead on 66 minutes and Edu Dracena added another nine minutes later. Fabio Bilica got one back for Sivasspor with eight minutes to go but Deivid soon replied by setting the score to 3-1.

Ankaraspor had a good start against Besiktas on Tuesday, as Kisa scored the opener from the penalty spot on 25 minutes. Matial Delgado levelled in minute 41 though and Filip Holosko made it 1-2 in the 77th. A late goal from Yusuf Simsek, 1-3, makes it very difficult for Ankaraspor to advance to the final.

The return legs are to be played on April 22nd.
