Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor win in Turkey

(GSM) – Fenerbahce jumped to the top of the Turkish Super Lig with a very convincing 4-0 victory over Antalyaspor on Sunday. All goals were scored in the first half hour.

Semih Senturk needed just eight minutes to score his side’s first goal of the season in Istanbul, and went on to add another goal five minutes later, 2-0.

Alex then found the target in the 24th minute and Gokhan Gönül delivered the fourth and final goal four minutes later.

Trabzonspor earned a 0-2 victory at Ankaragücü and are second after the opening round of games, of which two are scheduled for Monday.

Colombian Teofilo Gutierrez broke the deadlock in the 70th minute and Umut Bulut doubled Trabzonspor’s lead 12 minutes later, 0-2.
